The Parliamentary Development Project for Ukraine II presented certificates to participants of the distance course "New Media in the public administration». The event was held in the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, May 31. There were representatives of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, of the public relations departments of central and regional executive bodies.
The course "New Media in the public administration" was designed and conducted during March-April this year by the Mohyla School of Journalism on the request of the Secretariat of the СMU with the PDP II support.
Its participants represent executive and municipal bodies in five regions (Simferopol, Odesa, Lviv, Donetsk, Kharkov). The course was a continuation of the series of trainings "New Media and Governance” conducted during 2010-2011 years in these regions.
Participants learned to practice the new Internet communication technologies in the process of interaction between the authorities and the public.
