Ukrainian parliamentary speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has predicted that a new Cabinet of Ministers will be appointed by Parliament in the coming plenary week. Speaking in an interview with the Ukrainian parliamentary TV channel Rada, he said: “I am certain that there will be a government next week”. Lytvyn also said he was certain that the most likely candidacy for the post of prime minister is Party of Regions leader Mykola Azarov. The previous Cabinet lead by Yulia Tymoshenko was dismissed by Parliament on March 3. The next plenary week is the week of March 9-12.
