The decision by Presdient Viktor Yushchenko to dissolve Parliament will come into force only after the official publication of the corresponding decree, Andriy Portnov, a representative of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, has said. He said that any legal act becomes valid after its official publication.

President Viktor Yushchenko has given lawmakers one more day to pass changes to electoral laws and will then dissolve Parliament, unless a new coalition is formed, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the leader of the eponymous bloc, has said. "The President said that we have one day," he was quoted as telling reporters after attending consultations held today called by the President to discuss the fate of Parliament. |
