"Poverty in Ukraine. International and Regional dimensions" – analytical materials for round table PDF Print E-mail

At the request of the Parliamentary Development Program analytical materials were prepared for the benefit of the Parliamentary Committee for Social Policy and Labor by Eksor Ltd for the sitting of the Round Table on the theme of “Realities and prospects of defeating poverty in Ukraine” held on April 28, 2010.

The main indicators on poverty and factors regarding are reviewed in the report. Special attention is paid to Ukraine’s international standing, a comparative analysis of regions as well as to certain other problems regarding the stratification of wealth in Ukrainian society.

Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons”

In November 2011 the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons” which went into effect on October 15, 2011 as well as related revised articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Administrative Violations.

The e-version of the printed law is on the Committee’s website.
