The above-mentioned goals are brought to life by PDP consultants, former national deputies and state employees. They examine the legislative processes in democratic countries, compare them with the Ukrainian model and provide recommendations on possible legislative solutions with reference to Ukrainian reality. PDP staff also consults with Ukrainian law-makers and Parliament personnel on critical issues dealing with the enhancement of the Parliament legislative role. The advisors from USA and Europe invited by PDP are well-known scholars and experts in the sphere of legislation, law, state governance and policy. Their activity is aimed at promoting closer contacts and more efficient experience sharing among MPs of different countries. Highly qualified PDP translators prepare the Ukrainian versions of the analytic materials distributed among the Ukrainian parliamentarians, the Parliament staff and national NGOs in a pursuit to gain greater efficiency of the Project implementation efforts. |
