YTB MP says decree on Parliament’s dissolution in force once published PDF Print E-mail

 The decision by Presdient Viktor Yushchenko to dissolve Parliament will come into force only after the official publication of the corresponding decree, Andriy Portnov, a representative of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, has said. He said that any legal act becomes valid after its official publication.

 

President Yushchenko announced the termination of the powers of the Supreme Council of the sixth convocation and the holding of an early election. The corresponding decree has not yet been published on the official presidential website or official state newspapers.

Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons”

In November 2011 the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons” which went into effect on October 15, 2011 as well as related revised articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Administrative Violations.
