Three MPs expelled from opposition parliamentary YTB faction

Three MPs have been expelled from the parliamentary faction of the opposition Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc. The press service of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc reported that the relevant ruling was adopted today at a meeting of the parliamentary faction.

A statement by the press service said the MPs were thrown out for work with the authorities aimed at interfering in the work of the Fatherland party in the coming local elections.

In November 2011 the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons” which went into effect on October 15, 2011 as well as related revised articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Administrative Violations.
