The Ukrainian Parliament today appointed Mykola Zlochevskiy the new minister of environment. His candidacy was submitted in person to Parliament by Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. A total of 259 MPs voted in favor.
Several minutes earlier Viktor Boyko was dismissed from this post. Azarov said the reason for this was Boyko’s transfer to another post. He did not name the new position of Boyko, who was appointed in the spring from the Lytyvn Bloc.
