A new website (http://webhost.rada.crimea.ua/) of Verkhovna Rada of Autonomous Republic of Crimea has been launched this week.

 

The updated version has not only a new design, but also many interesting and useful things in the terms of accessibility and transparency to the public. The new website has search engine of different acts, information about MPs, contact information of the Secretariat and several other important applications. The new version provides an interface in 4 languages (Ukrainian, Russian, Crimean Tatar, and English), although at present the most complete version and most files are in Russian. While the administrators are bring the different language versions up to date, the website of the VR ARC is in beta version and works in parallel with the previous one (http://www.rada.crimea.ua/).

Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons”

In November 2011 the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption issued printed copies of the new Law of Ukraine “On Trafficking in Persons” which went into effect on October 15, 2011 as well as related revised articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Administrative Violations.

The e-version of the printed law is on the Committee’s website.
